Our Founder - Gerald Yap

Gerald's journey began during his university years, where he assisted SMEs in securing government grants. What started as routine internships soon became a realization - grant financing was a powerful tool for business transformation. After graduating, Gerald gained experience in fintech and shipping tech, witnessing firsthand how grants helped businesses de-risk technology adoption and accelerate growth. This reinforced his belief in the strategic impact of grant financing.

Driven by this vision, Gerald founded Real Inbound Consulting to help businesses secure funding for critical growth projects. Under his leadership, RIC has expanded into a globally recognized consultancy, specializing in grant financing, business expansion, digital transformation, and innovation funding​.
