The Client


The client is a leading Singapore-based company specializing in the design, fabrication, and installation of custom stainless steel products for Tier 1 construction projects. Their in-house teams of designers, engineers, and fabricators have delivered outstanding work for commercial, residential, and government infrastructure—ranging from Beauty World MRT station to Gardens by the Bay and Sportshub Singapore. With over 20 completed high-value projects and a team of 23 staff, the company sought to leverage its strong Singapore credentials to break into the Australian construction sector.

Grant Secured:

Real Inbound Consulting (RIC) supported the client in securing the Market Readiness Assistance (MRA) grant from Enterprise Singapore to fund its business matching and business development efforts for Australia. The grant awarded was approximately S$30,000 - at a support level of 80% of the overall costs - covering outreach and business partner identification services through a reputable in-market consultancy, Engenesis.

Scope of RIC’s Consulting and Advisory Services:

RIC delivered comprehensive advisory and execution support to help the client succeed:
  • End-to-End Project Planning: Developed a tailored proposal articulating the client’s strengths, value proposition, and market entry goals to align with MRA funding guidelines.
  • Strategic Business Matching Blueprint: Guided the selection of in-market partner Engenesis, defining ideal partner profiles, localised value messaging, and competitor positioning.
  • Market-Ready Pitch Collateral: Supported the development of high-impact outreach materials, including pitch decks, prospecting scripts, and email outreach templates.
  • Claims and Documentation: Managed the full suite of documentation, grant submissions, and post-project compliance to ensure a successful claims process.
  • Performance Reporting: Helped track and compile business matching outcomes including lead statuses and meeting summaries for grant reporting.

  • Successfully secured 80% grant funding support (~S$24,000) for Australia expansion efforts.
  • Shortlisted 3-5 qualified Australian partners through structured business matching.
  • Engaged 15–20 target firms with localized outreach and follow-ups via phone and email.
  • Developed a solid foundation for long-term project pipelines in the Australian construction sector.
