This client is a government-accredited edtech company delivering innovative training solutions to the retail and F&B industries. Headquartered in Singapore and serving leading multinational corporations across Asia-Pacific, their proprietary learning platform has successfully onboarded over 1500 retail locations and trained tens of thousands of frontline staff. Known for simplifying technical concepts into interactive, bite-sized lessons, their solution has garnered high praise from major players like Dan Murphy’s, BWS, and the Australian Venue Company for its ability to drive staff capability and customer experience at scale.

How RIC Helped


Grant Secured:

We assisted the client in securing the Market Readiness Assistance (MRA) Grant from Enterprise Singapore to support their overseas expansion into Australia. The grant offered funding support of 60% for eligible expenses including in-market business development hiring. The total project value amounted to close to SG$100,000, with over SG$50,000 supported by the grant.

Scope of RIC’s Consulting and Advisory Services:

We provided end-to-end consulting and advisory services including:
  • Project Scoping and Strategic Planning: We supported the client in identifying market-entry priorities, defining clear business development KPIs, and aligning talent acquisition to commercial outcomes.
  • Proposal Development: We developed a comprehensive project proposal, encompassing justification of market need, financial projections, and ROI analysis for Enterprise Singapore’s review.
  • Talent Identification and Cost Analysis: We guided the client through hiring a seasoned Business Development executive with prior industry experience and designed a detailed cost plan to meet funding eligibility.
  • Performance Benchmarking: We framed and validated KPIs such as lead engagement, account closures, and client feedback, which were later achieved and documented through evidence in the grant claim.
  • Post-Award Support and Documentation: We worked closely with the client to prepare claim submissions, including payroll evidence, feedback records, proof of deliverables, and audit coordination.

  • Successfully hired and deployed an in-market Business Development executive to lead Australia market expansion.
  • Engaged over 15 targeted corporate leads and closed multiple major sales accounts including deals with Australian Venue Company and Remy Cointreau.
