Grant Secured:

Real Inbound Consulting (RIC) supported the client in securing an Enterprise Development Grant (EDG) from Enterprise Singapore to co-fund a strategic acquisition project. The grant, valued at SG$966,491, covered up to 30% of the qualifying professional fees required for executing a high-stakes acquisition of an established offshore wind vessel operator.

Scope of RIC’s Consulting and Advisory Services:

RIC worked closely with the client’s leadership and transaction teams to support this complex cross-border acquisition:
  • Due Diligence Coordination
    • Engaged a panel of financial advisors to assess the financial health, operational capacity, and risk profile of the target entity, ensuring robust investment decisions.
  • Legal Structuring and Regulatory Compliance
    • Collaborated with international legal counsel to structure acquisition terms, navigate cross-border financing regulations, and ensure legal alignment with ESG grant requirements.

    • Provided financial modelling support and conducted comparative market analysis to validate acquisition pricing and synergy projections.
  • Project Justification and Grant Submission
    • Scoped and authored the EDG grant proposal, detailing the strategic rationale, market growth potential, and economic impact of the acquisition for both the client and Singapore’s renewable energy ecosystem.
  • Claims and Documentation Support
    • Managed post-award documentation, milestone tracking, and claims submissions to ensure successful grant reimbursement.

  • Expanded fleet to 32 specialised vessels and scaled workforce to 1,650 employees, enhancing operational and service delivery capacity.
