Who This Grant May Suit

Singapore employers hiring mid-career Singapore Citizens or PRs into new growth job roles where structured training is needed. This is most relevant when the new hire requires career conversion into a substantially different role.

Typical Project Examples

Typical projects may include hiring mid-career candidates into business development, operations, technology, digital, sustainability, engineering, logistics, financial services or other growth roles, supported by structured on-the-job training and, where required, external training.

Key Eligibility Notes

For new hires, CCP generally applies under the Place-and-Train mode, where the company hires a jobseeker and trains the individual for a new growth role. The individual should be a Singapore Citizen or PR, at least 21 years old, and have graduated or completed National Service for at least two years. The new role should be substantially different from the individual’s previous role, unless specific exceptions apply. The employer must be registered or incorporated in Singapore and offer permanent employment or a contract of at least one year.

Grant eligibility depends on the latest programme requirements, company profile, project scope, timing and supporting evidence. RIC assesses grant fit based on the specific project context.
